So thats it, the end of an era and into the big wide world again, it feels good to be back!
For those of you who don't know me, hello, I'm Nat (Natalie) and I've recently graduated from the MA Theatre Lab at RADA (RA-de-DA indeed). It was an incredible experience where I was pushed physically and emotionally, all for the better in my opinion. During the course you learn that all those masks you use to cover insecurities are ok to be removed and that little voice in your head (mine's called Josie) is just a pile of BEEP BEEP BEEEEEP BEEP BEEP. It doesn't get it away entirely, we are human after all, but it puts the mute button on while the creation process happens. Isn't that what we want as artists?
So, since graduating I've been a busy bee getting involved in lots of exciting projects including the marvellous Blioux Kirkby's Who knew the Man had so much Blood in Him (a site specific adaptation of the classic Macbeth) and Iphigenia in Aulis with Performance Anxiety as part of the Cockpit's Voila Festival.
I've had an incredible few months so now for me its time to wind down, get my stocking up and let the Christmas festivities roll in preparation for a kickstarting 2020! Watch this space.
