Hello!
Originally from Liverpool, I am a bit of a clown to be honest. I earn my keep in the 'Big Smoke' by performing, directing and making theatre and film. Recent directing credits include The Cluedo Club Killings at the Arcola and Kings Head Theatre.

Having recently graduated from the MA Theatre Lab at RADA I am a diverse and open performer who loves collaborating. I bring fun and a positive energy into the rehearsal and performance space.

I love to create a sense of fun from the clown art form and colour taking inspiration from the likes of Roberto Matta’s surrealist pieces. I love his use of colour and shape, but also the way he draws inspirations from his architecture background while making use his sense of flow. I’m passionate about maintaining a flow and using improvisation as a starting point while keeping the play and game ongoing, I believe this is essential for any genre of work as it is the heartbeat of the work which pulsates through the audience and performers. Flow Theory
(1) challenges and skills are balanced, enabling the establishment of (2) clear goals with (3) immediate feedback. These dimensions allow for (4) the merging of action and awareness, a level of involvement that creates (5) a sense of control, (6) excludes distractions from consciousness, and (7) eliminates self-consciousness. This generally coincides with (8) a distortion of one’s sense of time. Finally, the experience is described as (9) ‘autotelic’ or enjoyable in itself.
